I’m about to go donate these to my local “Little Free Library”

The whole idea of the little free library is to take a book/leave a book. It looks like an overgrown mailbox filled with books. You can take any and bring any you like. The owner of the one closest to me said her only rule was to bring a book you loved.

She also told me they have a shortage of children’s books and an abundance of children that come searching for books.

So I went to Goodwill and found a few favorites, that, as you can see, I wrapped up and wrote why I loved them. I thought it would be fun for children—kind of like a literary Christmas, a surprise.

They are “Tom Sawyer,” “Huckleberry Finn,” “Stone Fox” and “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”

I’m going to sneakily check in a few days and see how they go over. I hope the kids like them—it sure was fun putting them together. I always wanted to be one of those people to write a letter and leave it in a book. This seemed a little bit more fun.

How cool would it be if they returned wrapped up by someone else, oooo :3
